Bumbu Bali

In Short:
Crowded (we went there on Saturday night), average customer service, good food and great ambience. Balinese music was playing in the background while the restaurant is fully furnished will everything Balinese (at least that's what I felt).

The Food:

Ice Lemon Tea - Not the artificial one.

Sate Lilit - 4 sticks of grilled combo of minced chicken and seafood wrapped around lemon grass stick served with BumbuBali Sambal. Lots of limau purut and lemon grass provide the strong fragrant aroma and taste rather sweet.

Nasi Campur BumbuBali - White rice served with Beef Rendang, grilled squids, prawn, fish fillet, kangkung belacan and their very own keropok. The keropok tasted really nice, not sure if we can get this anywhere, does anyone know? Anyway, the food was amazing at first, but its tasted rather same as the Sate Lilit, I guess it's due to the fact that the same herbs mixture are used to marinate the meats. It still taste great for a first-timer.

Nasi BBQ Chicken - Ayam Percik served with nasi kunyit, kangkung belacan and keropok. Chicken was juicy and tender, and the percik sauce was amazing. Again, it kinda got bored after a while as the herbs smells are rather strong.

Bubur Injin - Bubur Pulut Hitam topped with banana slices and coconut milk. Served hot. Loved the added banana and the generous portion of the dessert as well as the coconut milk. Very full-filling.
